The Godwit Spring Migration Festival in Arcata kicks off this week with events running from April 14-20th and provides attendees with the opportunity to observe Godwit's, Marbled Murrelet, Spotted Owl, and Snowy Plover and more. PS We got lucky last weekend on a wildflower trip, we added roadrunners to our birding life list and the topper: they were mating. Are only regret--we interrupted them and we didn't capture any pictures. Read the post at my CWildflowers blog.
